The Lightbown Family Scholarship is for students from Allegheny County pursuing a career in education. Corinne Elsie Lightbown was an English teacher for 34 years with the Mt. Lebanon School District and taught in England and Japan. A firm believer in the value of a good education, she established this scholarship fund in her name to support students in their academic studies. Qualified female applicants receive special consideration.
