Lou Gerber Scholarship provides financial assistance to classified school employees who are members of the Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA) and wish to continue their education.

Requirements

This program is open to OSEA members who are classified, as school employees.

Applicants must be interested in continuing their education; especially encouraged are employees who do not have a high school diploma and wish to get their GED. Selection is based on 1) a 150word statement describing their educational interests, plans, and activities, both inside and outside of school work; 2) a 300-word statement describing their involvement in OSEA and how it has benefited them and others they know, and 3) letters of reference, including 1 from an OSEA member.
