About the Scholarship

The Louise Lightner Jamison Teacher Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who live in Prince William County, Virginia. Applicants must be planning to study education in college. Students must be able to demonstrate academic excellence, involvement in community service, and participation in extracurricular activities. Residents of the communities of Gainesville and Haymarket and students specializing in early childhood education receive special consideration.
