Requirements

This program is open to residents of Connecticut who are graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a program of study beneficial to the horticulture industry, including, but not limited to, ornamental horticulture, landscape design, nursery management, or greenhouse management.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on academic achievement, nonschool work related to horticulture, and financial need.
