Requirements

This program is open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students attending a college or university in any state; preference is given to residents of Minnesota.

Applicants must be working on a degree in family and consumer sciences education and be active or student members of both the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) and the Minnesota Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (MAFCS).

They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Selection is based on membership in professional organizations (such as the AAFCS), service to the college or university and community, and financial need.
