The Maine Island Scholarship is available to residents on one of Maine’s year-round, unbridged islands. Students currently enrolled in or who have graduated from the highest grade available at the island school are welcome to apply. Priority is given to students who demonstrate financial need (EFC $15,000 or less).

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor’s degree as a fulltime student

Exhibit leadership skills through participation in extracurricular activities or community service

Proven academic achievement Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need (EFC $15,000 or less)
