Requirements

This program is open to members in good standing of a Minnesota union that is affiliated with the Minnesota AFL-CIO. Members who are on layoff, disabled, or retirement status are also eligible to apply; such members must show proof of membership for a period of 6 months prior to layoff.

Applicants must be adult learners planning to attend a college or university in the state.

No academic performance standards or records are required for eligibility; recipients are selected by lottery.
