The Mary A. Beatty Scholarship is open to residents of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area who have completed a program through Johnson County Adult Education (JCAE). Graduates of those programs who are currently enrolled at Johnson County Community College are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Resident of Johnson, Leavenworth, Linn, Miami, or Wyandotte counties in Kansas or Bates, Caldwell, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Lafayette, Platte, or Ray counties, Missouri

Current college student

Seeking a professional certification or associate degree as a fulltime or part-time student

Completed one of Johnson County Adult Education programs: Adult Basic Education/General Educational Development (ABE/GED), English Connections, or English as a Second Language (ESL)

Enrolled in Johnson County Community College
