Requirements
  • This program is open to people who are affected directly or indirectly by hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, another hereditary bleeding disorder, Gaucher Disease, or hemochromatosis.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university, vocational/technical school, or certified training program as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  • They must be residents of or attending school in 48 designated counties of upstate New York.
  • Selection is based on the essays, academic performance, participation in school and community activities, work or volunteer experience, personal or family circumstances, recommendations, and financial need.
