Massachusetts Eastern Star Educational Scholarship provides financial assistance for college or graduates school to members of the Order of the Eastern Star (OES) and their families in Massachusetts.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Massachusetts who have been members of OES for at least 5 years and their children, grandchildren, stepchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Applicants must be enrolled fulltime at a college or vocational institute in any state.

Members of OES who are enrolled at least halftime at an accredited institution of higher learning in any state and working on a master's degree, doctoral degree, medical degree (including nursing), or certificate of advanced learning are also eligible.

All applicants must submit a personal letter providing their reasons for applying, professional and educational goals, scholastic, fraternal, school, social, and church involvement, and work experience.

Students entering their first year of college must also submit transcripts that include class rank and SAT scores.
