MBA Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to Missouri residents interested in studying broadcasting at a college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to Missouri residents who are currently attending a college, university, or accredited trade/technical school in the state or graduating high school seniors who have been admitted to a Missouri institution of higher education.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as a fulltime students in a broadcast or related program that provides training and expertise applicable to broadcast operation.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit their application to a radio or television station that is a member of the Missouri Broadcasters Association.

Each station selects its top candidate to forward to the association for statewide consideration.

Selection is based on curriculum and career goals, clarity of thought and expression, letters of recommendation, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and financial need.

Finalists are invited for personal interviews.
