The Memorial Scholarship for Special Needs Students offers graduating high school seniors from Orange Unified School District (OUSD) need-based scholarships. Students with a physical or mental disability or those seeking a degree in special education are welcome to apply. Members, their immediate family members, and extended family of the Assistance League of Orange, other local assistance leagues, or auxiliaries are not eligible to apply.

Requirements

Physical or mental disability or planning for a career in special education

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Graduating high school senior from Canyon High School, El Modena High School, Orange High School, OUSD EDGE Virtual Academy, or Villa Park High School or resident of OUSD attending high school elsewhere

Seeking a professional certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree as a full time student

Participate in community service and extracurricular activities

Demonstrate leadership

Demonstrate financial need Members, their immediate family members, and extended family of the Assistance League of Orange, other local assistance leagues, or auxiliaries are not eligible to apply.
