Michael Kidger Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students who are preparing for a career in optical design.

Requirements

This program is open to students of optical design (including lens design, illumination design, and computational optical design) from any country at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applicants must have at least 1 more year, after the award, to complete their current course of study.

They must submit 2 letters of recommendation and a 5page essay on their academic background and interest in pursuing training or research in optical design.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
