The Military Dependents Scholarship supports the educational goals of dependents and spouses of Arkansas residents who are military veterans that have been declared missing in action, killed in action, a prisoner of war, or killed on ordnance delivery, or a veteran who has been declared to be 100% totally and permanently disabled. Dependents who are planning to attend an Arkansas institution are eligible to apply.

  • Dependent (biological, adopted child) of a military veteran and Arkansas resident that have been declared disabled, MIA/KIA/POW, **or**
  • Unmarried spouse of a military veteran and Arkansas resident that has been declared disabled, MIA/KIA/POW
  • Resident of Arkansas
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student at any public college or university in Arkansas
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
