The Miriam A. Steel Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Pennsylvania who are interested in working on an undergraduate degree in a field related to gardening. Children or dependents of a member of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who are members of the High School Gardener Club, FFA, 4-H, or Scout group.

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Studying agriculture, agronomy, floriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, botany, biology, conservation, environmental concerns, forestry, plant pathology, city planning, land management, or wildlife science

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who are members of the High School Gardener Club, FFA, 4H, or Scout group.
