Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Mississippi who plan to attend an accredited college, university, or community college in the state.

Applicants must submit an essay, up to 2,000 words in length, on why they should consider a career in municipal government.

Selection is based primarily on that essay; financial need is not considered.
