Requirements

This program is open to students who are enrolled at a technical or community college in a degree program that benefits and supports the water industry (e.g., water operations, science, engineering).

Applicants must submit a 1page essay describing their career objectives and how this scholarship will enhance their ability for professional development and bring value to the water industry.

Preference is given to applicants who 1) are members or whose parents are members of the Minnesota AWWA section; 2) work for or whose parents work for a utility member of the Minnesota AWWA section; 3) are actively involved or whose parents are actively involved in the Minnesota AWWA section; 4) can demonstrate outstanding academic achievement; or 5) are involved in student chapters, professional societies, research, and/or summer work in waterrelated fields.
