MTA Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to residents of Minnesota who have a tie to the trucking industry.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are residents of Minnesota.

Applicants must meet at least 2 of the following: 1) working on a degree that will lead to a career in the trucking industry; 2) currently employed in the trucking industry and interested in enhancing their skills or completing their degree; or 2) have an immediate family member working for a member company of the Minnesota Trucking Association (MTA).

They may be applying for funding for truck driving school, diesel technician, or general studies with the goal of beginning or continuing work in the trucking industry.
