The Myron and Laura Thompson Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in the field of early childhood education. Students who can demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply. Those who demonstrate an interest in working with Hawaiian children after completing their education receive special consideration. It is also the policy of the Foundation to give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
