Requirements

This program is open to individuals wishing to attend an EMS school or program to become certified as an emergency medical responder (EMR) or emergency medical technician (EMT).

Applicants must submit a 1,000word essay explaining why they are seeking an educational scholarship, their educational and employment goals, and how the scholarship would be of benefit.

Following completion of their EMS educational program, they must seek certification by testing.

Selection is based on the commitment to entering the EMS profession, ability to serve as a positive ambassador to the EMS profession, dedication to the community, and financial need.
