National DHIA Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to family members and employees associated with the National Dairy Herd Information Association (NDHIA).

Requirements

This program is open to full-time students entering or enrolled at a technical, 2-year, or 4-year institution.

Applicants must be a family member or employee of a herd on the DHI test, or a family member of an employee, or an employee of a DHI affiliate.

They must also submit 250word essays on 1) why they chose their college or vocational school and how its program is consistent with their career objectives; 2) their current goals and objectives (personal, educational, and career); and 3) a special experience or related activity and how it was important to them.

Selection is based on responses to the questions, academic achievements, leadership, community activities, work experience, and knowledge of and experience with DHIA.
