Requirements

This program is open to legally blind residents of Colorado who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college or university in any state (except for 1 scholarship reserved for an applicant who is employed full-time and studying part-time).

Applicants must submit 2 letters of recommendation, current transcripts, a personal letter that describes their best qualities, and a letter from a state officer of the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado indicating that they have discussed their scholarship application with that officer.

Selection is based on academic excellence, service to the community, and financial need.
