Requirements

This program is open to legally blind residents of Massachusetts who are entering or enrolled full-time at a postsecondary educational institution in any state.

Applicants must provide information on the high school, college, or graduate program they have attended; their high school or undergraduate GPA; a list of honors and awards they have received; and essays on their career goal and plan for the future, how blindness has affected their life so far, how they see it affecting their future, and their involvement in blindness organizations.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

Finalists must attend the annual convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts.
