Native American Fish and Wildlife Society Pacific Region Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of Native American nations in the Pacific Region of the Native American Fish and Wildlife Society (NAFWS) who are working on a degree related to natural resources.

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of federally-recognized Indian tribes within the NAFWS Pacific Region.
  • Applicants must have completed at least 1 academic year of undergraduate or graduate study at a college or university in any state and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • They must be working on a degree in natural resources, fisheries, wildlife management, resource recreation, conservation law enforcement, or environmental sciences.
  • Selection is based on 1) the essay, grades, and transcripts (70%); and 2) letters of recommendation (30%).
