Requirements

This program is open to residents of Nebraska who are graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled full-time at colleges and universities in any state.

Applicants must submit a 400word essay on a topic that changes annually but relates to agricultural aviation; recently, students were asked to write on why agricultural aviation is important.

They must be recommended by a member of the Nebraska Aviation Trades Association (NATA).

Selection is based on the essay, academic achievements (including SAT and ACT scores), and leadership.
