Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors, college students, and nontraditional students who are residents of Nebraska.

Applicants must be employees or children of employees of businesses that belong to NGIA. The qualifying employee must have worked for at least 1 year and still be employed.

The student must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and be enrolled or planning to enroll full or parttime at an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state.

Selection is based on that essay, academic record, SAT/ACT scores, extracurricular or workplace activities, and recommendations.
