The NEORSD Richard N. Connelly Memorial Scholarship is open to students who have completed at least 1 semester at the Cuyahoga Community College District. Students who reside in the service area of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) and those pursuing a degree related to protecting our waterways are encouraged to apply. Students in environmental health and safety technology receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.80 GPA
  • Resident of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD), including the city of Cleveland and 61 suburban municipalities in Cuyahoga, Lake, Logan, and Summit counties in Ohio
  • Completed at least one semester at Cuyahoga Community College
  • Seeking an associate degree
  • Studying for a degree in biology, chemistry, construction engineering technology, electrical/electronic engineering technology, integrated systems engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, physical sciences, or physics
  • U.S. citizen
  • Demonstrate financial need NEORSD employees and their immediate families are ineligible. Preference is given to students pursuing a degree in environmental health and safety technology.
