New England Amateur Radio Festival (NEAR-Fest) Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to licensed radio amateurs from the New England states who are interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in radio communications at a school in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to undergraduate or technical school students who are residents of the New England states.

Applicants must be enrolled at accredited institutions in any state and working on a degree in radio communications.

They must have held an amateur radio license for at least 1 year; first preference is given to extra class, second to general class, and third to technician class.
