New Mexico Library Association College Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of New Mexico who are working on an undergraduate degree in library technology or school librarian certification.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of New Mexico who are working on 1) an associate degree in library science or technology; or 2) undergraduate or graduate study toward school librarian endorsement.

Applicants must submit a resume, 3 letters of reference, transcripts, and a 1page statement of professional needs, goals, and intent to serve New Mexico's libraries.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

Preference is given to applicants currently employed in a New Mexico library and to members of the New Mexico Library Association (NMLA).
