New York Chapter COMTO Scholarship provides financial assistance to minority residents of the New York Tri-State Region who are interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in transportation at a college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York or students attending schools in those states who are African American, Alaska Native, American Indian, Asian American, Hispanic American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, or multiracial.

Applicants must be high school seniors or current undergraduate or graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at a college or university in any state.

They must be working on a degree in a transportationrelated field and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Student membership in the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) or reference from a member are required.
