NIBA Presidential Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to children of employees of member companies of the NIBA-The Belting Association.

Requirements

This program is open to children of parents employed by a NIBA distributor or fabricator company who are enrolled or planning to enroll at a 2- or 4-year college, university, or technical school.

Applicants must submit a 2,000word essay on 1 of the following topics: 1) how they have demonstrated leadership ability both in and out of school; 2) a book or books and that have affected them deeply and why; or 3) how their family background has affected their choice of study.

Selection is based on that essay (40%), GPA (15%), SAT/ACT score (15%), leadership roles (15%), and community service activities (15%).
