North Dakota Stockmen's Foundation Junior Scholarship provides financial assistance to students at North Dakota colleges and universities who are majoring in fields related to the beef industry.

Requirements

This program is open to sophomores at colleges and universities in North Dakota who are majoring in agribusiness, agricultural communications, animal science, farm and ranch management, pre-veterinary medicine, range science, or another field related to the beef industry.

Applicants must be North Dakota residents and members of the North Dakota Stockmen's Association in their own name or through their parents.

They must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and an interest in the beef cattle industry of North Dakota.

They must also submit a separate essay on an issue that is important to North Dakota cattle producers.

Selection is based on the information in those essays, interest in the beef industry, and financial need.
