Northwest Danish Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Northwest Danish Association (NWDA) who live or attend college in Washington or Oregon and are interested in studying fields related to Danish studies.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Washington and Oregon or students attending college in those states who can demonstrate a connection to Denmark through life experience, travel, study abroad, field of study, or heritage.

Applicants must be members of the NWDA. They must be interested in working on an academic degree, retraining for employment possibilities, or training for legitimate artistic careers that will enrich them.

Acceptable fields of study include Danish language and literature, arts and crafts, history, or political science.

Financial need is considered in the selection process.
