Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and currently-enrolled graduate students in the Pacific Northwest who "have a background in American-Norwegian ideals." Applicants must be interested in preparing for a career in fisheries management or research in the Pacific Northwest or Alaska.

Students in fishery technical schools, such as the Maritime Academy, are also eligible.

Selection is based on financial need, academic capability, and activities of the applicant.
