The NSPS Foundation Trig-Star Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors or college freshman or sophomores who participate in a trigonometry contest and plan to study surveying or mapping in college.

Requirements
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • High school senior, College freshman or college sophomore.
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in surveying and mapping.
  • Participated at some time in their high school career in a TrigStar contest (a timed exercise in solving trigonometry problems that incorporate the use of right triangle formulas and the laws of sines and cosines), although they do not need to have been a winner.
