Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association (OHHA) and their families who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors and current students at colleges and universities in any state who are OHHA members of the family of members.

Applicants must come from a family involved in the harness racing industry.

Graduate students are eligible if they are working on a degree directly related to harnessing racing.

All applicants must submit essays on 1) their present and future educational goals and why they believe they are deserving of this scholarship; and 2) the extent that they and/or other members of their family are involved in the harness racing industry.

Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
