Requirements

This program is open to students entering their junior or senior year in a degree program in civil engineering at California State University Fullerton, California State University Long Beach, or the University of California at Irvine.

Applicants must have been members of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for at least 1 year and submit a letter of recommendation from an ASCE faculty adviser.

Selection is based on that essay (20%), ASCE involvement (30%), grades (15%), civil engineering activities (15%), community involvement and volunteerism (10%), and leadership (10%).
