The Orange County United Way Scholarship is for Latino or Latina high school seniors who have participated in the United Way AVID Program at their school. First-generation college students who are seeking a bachelor's degree are welcome to apply.

  • Resident of Orange County, California, for the past 3 years
  • Graduating senior from Anaheim, Cypress, Katella, Savanna, Huntington Beach, Westminster, Los Amigos, Century, Godinez Fundamental, or Segerstrom high schools or Santa Ana Middle College in California
  • Seeking a bachelor’s degree as a fulltime student
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, dreamer, or AB540 student
  • Latino or Latina
  • Firstgeneration college student
  • Participate in the United Way AVID Program, extracurricular activities, community service, or employment
  • Exhibit strong academic achievement
  • Demonstrate financial need
