The Part-Time Grant Program is available to residents of Massachusetts who plan to attend a postsecondary institution on a part-time basis. Students studying for a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree at an eligible institution in Massachusetts are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need.

Resident of Massachusetts

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree

Planning to attend an eligible postsecondary institution in Massachusetts as a parttime student

U.S. citizen or noncitizen eligible under Title IV regulations

Demonstrate financial need

Compliant with Selective Service Registration

Not be in default of any federal or state Student Loans for attendance at any institution or owe a refund for any previous financial aid received

Not have received a prior bachelor’s degree or professional degree or their equivalent

Maintain satisfactory academic progress
