Requirements

This program is open to residents of Hawaii interested in a program of study in the state.

Priority is given to those currently employed in a licensed child care facility or operating registered child care home.

Applicants must pass collegelevel courses in early childhood education, successfully convert classes completed at Professional and Career Education for Early Childhood (PACE) workshops to college credits, or obtain or renew a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
