The Paul Arnold Memorial Scholarship supports LGBTQ+ and allied students from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington. Students studying interior, fashion, or graphic design are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington for a minimum of three months prior to the application deadline or lived within the state for at least one out of the five prior years

High school senior, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student

Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, graduate degree, or Ph.D.

Studying in interior, fashion, or graphic design

LGBTQIA+

Proven leadership potential in the LGBTQ+ community or field of study

Lack of a broader LGBTQ+ community support system

Encountered additional barriers to education, including economic, racial, social, geographical, or being politically disenfranchised

Demonstrate financial need
