Peninsula Silicon Valley CalCPA Chapter Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) from any state enrolled at community colleges in the San Francisco Bay Peninsula and Silicon Valley areas of California and interested in preparing for a career in accounting.

Requirements

This program is open to CalCPA members from any state who are enrolled full or part-time at colleges and universities in the Peninsula and Silicon Valley areas of California (San Mateo and Santa Clara counties).

Applicants must have declared accounting or business as their major and have taken at least 4 accounting or businessrelated courses.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be interested in preparing for a career in the accounting profession.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
