Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors who are Pennsylvania DECA members currently enrolled in marketing education.

Applicants must submit an official DECA notebook that documents the activities on which they are judged.

They must submit a 200word personal statement on why they deserve a scholarship from Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association, another personal statement on how business education and DECA have assisted them in selecting their career objective, a portfolio of their DECA activities, information on their participation in other school and/or community activities, transcripts (with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and their SAT scores), letters of recommendation, and information on their employment experience.
