Requirements

This program is open to 1) full-time undergraduate students (entering or continuing) who are majoring in a field related to plumbing, heating, and cooling (e.g., business management, construction management with a specialization in mechanical construction, mechanical engineering) at a 4-year college or university; 2) students enrolled full time in an approved certificate or degree program at a 2-year technical college, community college, or trade school in business management, mechanical CAD design, construction management with a specialty in mechanical construction, or plumbing or HVACR installation, service, and repair; and 3) full-time employees of a licensed plumbing or HVAC contractor (must be a member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association-PHCC) who are enrolled in an apprenticeship program in plumbing or HVACR installation, service, and repair.

Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a PHCC member; a copy of school transcripts; SAT and/or ACT scores; and a letter of recommendation from a school principal, counselor, or dean.

U.S. or Canadian citizenship is required.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
