Phil-Mont Mobile Radio Club Scholarship provides funding to licensed radio amateurs who reside in eastern Pennsylvania or southern New Jersey and are interested in working on a bachelor's or graduate degree at a school in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to licensed radio amateurs who intend to work full-time on a bachelor's or graduate degree at a college or university in any state.

There is no restriction on the course of study or license class.

Applicants must reside in eastern Pennsylvania or southern New Jersey section of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).

They must submit essays on their motivation to become a ham and interests in the hobby; ham radio activities and accomplishments; ham radio contacts and operating modes; interests and hobbies outside of ham radio; ham radio club memberships; ham radio club participation (offices held, appointed positions); and any special issues that affect their application and that they would like the sponsor to take into consideration.
