The Police Officer’s and Firefighter’s Survivors Educational Assistance Program is available to dependents and eligible spouses of Alabama police officers, firefighters, or rescue squad members killed or totally disabled in the line of duty. Students who are planning to pursue professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree at a public institution in Alabama are eligible to apply.
