Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and continuing/returning college students whose parent, grandparent, or legal guardian is employed by a company at the Port of Wilmington that is a member of the Port of Wilmington Maritime Society and has contributed at least $500 to the program.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university in any state.

Selection is based on that essay (5%), financial need (50%), GPA (25%), SAT scores (15%), and community or school involvement and leadership ability (5%).
