Post and Auxiliary 2704 Irvin Holst Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the VFW Auxiliary, and their families in South Omaha, Nebraska who wish to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to members of the Nebraska chapter of the VFW, the VFW Auxiliary, and their spouses, children, stepchildren, and grandchildren.

Applicants must have completed at least 1 year of fulltime study at a college or university in any state.

They must be able to demonstrate financial need.

First consideration is given to members of VFW Post 2704 in South Omaha; if no applications are received for members of that Post, then members of VFW Nebraska District 10 are eligible; if no applications are received for members in that district, then the scholarship is available to all Nebraska VFW members and their families.
