PPIA Junior Summer Institute scholarship at Carnegie Mellon provides an opportunity for minority and other undergraduate students interested in graduate study in public or international affairs to obtain future graduate fellowships as well as undergraduate training in a summer program at Carnegie Mellon University.

Requirements
  • This program is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and DACA recipients who have completed the junior year of college and have at least 1 full semester of coursework left before graduation.
  • Students are selected from groups underrepresented in public policy and international affairs, especially African Americans, Asians and Pacific Islanders (including the Indian subcontinent), American Indians, Alaskan Natives, and Hispanics/Latinos.
  • All undergraduate majors are acceptable, but applicants should have demonstrated interest in public policy or international affairs.
