Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors who have participated in foods and nutrition activities of 4-H in North Carolina.

Applicants must be planning to attend a college or university in the state; preference is given to those planning to major in a foodsrelated area.

Selection is based on accomplishments in 4H (50%), academic achievement as indicated by GPA and class rank (25%), and aptitude for college as indicated by grades and SAT or ACT scores (25%).

Parents may include a confidential letter describing any special financial concerns.
